Glass Art Kalamazoo
While at Glass Art Kalamazoo I was teaching introductory “make it” classes in the hot shop and kiln fusing. I welcomed people with no background in glass and helped them create one of a kind pieces in each class. I have had the pleasure of participating in demos and large events at Glass Art Kalamazoo. In the Centerpiece Showcase 2025, I was the gaffer for the team that won first place for the Very Hungry Caterpillar centerpiece. In the past year, I have taken on additional responsibilities supporting studio operations including rotating and curating the gallery.
2024-2026
Ox-Bow School of Art (Studio Technician)
As a Glass Studio Technician, I was responsible for all aspects of maintaining and running the hotshop throughout the season. I directly supported the various visiting artists and their students. In addition I helped develop and produce products for sale by Ox-Bow. This seasonal opportunity also provided me many hours of access to the studio to help develop my glassblowing skills.
Seasonal Summer Position from May - Oct, 2025 & 2026

Undergraduate SIP Show
My Senior Individualized Project (SIP) at Kalamazoo College was a solo show that highlighted my years in undergrad and my mental and emotional states during those years. This mixed media sculptural work was created during my transitional period from working with plaster and mixed mediums, into working primarily in glass. Due to this, my work primarily references aspects of glass while not being entirely made of glass.
